L-Style Gomu Shaft Tightening Tool

Gomu takes its name from the Japanese word for rubber, and it's a simple but clever accessory built to stop any 2BA plastic or carbon shaft from working loose in the barrel.

Fitting it is straightforward:

• Slide the threaded end of the shaft into one of the three Gomu rings.
• Turn the shaft clockwise so it eases through the ring.
• With the Gomu now sitting over the thread, screw the shaft into the barrel as normal.

It may feel a touch tighter going in than you're used to, but once the shaft is fully home it stays put and won't work loose during play.

A couple of things to keep in mind: each pack gives you two stacked layers of three rings, but you only need one layer at a time. Also, once a shaft has been screwed on with the Gomu fitted, try not to unscrew it again, as this can damage the ring.

Fit it once and enjoy a setup that stays locked together, throw after throw.
