About Gian van Veen

Gian van Veen is one of the brightest young talents in professional darts and has already established himself among the sport's elite. The Dutchman is a multiple major winner and one of only two players to successfully defend the PDC World Youth Championship, retaining the title against Beau Greaves in Minehead.

Gian has built a reputation for producing "flatties", with his darts sitting almost flat in the board, allowing him to stack subsequent darts closely together for improved grouping and scoring.

Despite his rapid rise, Gian's journey has not been without challenges. In 2019 he suffered with dartitis but showed tremendous determination to overcome it before returning stronger than ever. Growing up, Gian looked up to Gary Anderson after watching his rise in 2011.
