Warrior Kapene 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts by Shot

Marking 50 years of Shot Darts craftsmanship, Warrior Kapene was created as something special for our worldwide community of players - a tribute to where the brand began and a marker for where it's heading.

Kapene means Captain, the tribal leader steering the next 50 years, drawing on home and honouring the warrior spirit within. Tauranga carver Whare Thompson was commissioned to design the sleeve's Ta Moko tattoo, which wraps the full length of the barrel and is mirrored in the flight design.

Shaped by technique refined since 1970 and years of hard-fought competition, Kapene is straight in profile with a centre weight and a generous shark grip running along the barrel. Front and rear scallops create two solid throwing zones, giving a firm push and a clear reference point. Made from 90% tungsten and protected by an ultra-thin titanium coating, with the laser-etched Ta Moko sleeve echoed on the flight.

Kapene is a genuinely versatile dart - grip runs the entire barrel, so you can find secure finger placement wherever you throw from. A gentle scallop behind the smooth ring-grip nose leads into a wide, telescopic-style shark grip, with a deeper scallop cut at the rear. The laser-applied Cinder Grip finish adds a fine layer of extra traction to help control the release.
