Unicorn Adam Paxton 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts

The Unicorn Contender line pairs sharp new styling with genuine engineering upgrades for players carving out their own reputation. Adam 'Pacman' Paxton's Contender dart is built around a 90% tungsten barrel aimed at advanced players who grip towards the rear, with alternating broad and small V-groove bands through the middle section giving real tactile feedback for a controlled release. The barrel keeps its natural tungsten colour and is paired with white Gripper® 4 shafts for a clean look, while patented Volute® steel points - machined using Unicorn's CNC process - hold firmly in the board's sisal and help the board last longer.

Machined to Adam's own spec, the front of the barrel alternates large and small V-cuts for solid, controllable grip. Pacman's signature is laser-etched into the smooth-shouldered middle section, while the rear carries its own mix of small and broad V-grooves for added control. The natural tungsten finish keeps things clean and contemporary.

Volute® points are Unicorn's patented answer to bounce-outs: the extra surface area on the steel tip bites harder into dartboard sisal, and the CNC-machined helix shape lets the point slide free easily afterwards, causing less wear to the board than a standard machined point.

The white Gripper® 4 shaft is made from polycarbonate for a tough yet lightweight build that keeps the dart's balance intact. A compression spring ring locks the flight in place for dependable, repeatable play, and the 41mm medium length is chosen to balance well against the barrel.

UltraFly™ flights are built from 100-micron metallic polyester, striking a balance between flex - which limits deflections and helps tighten your grouping - and the rigidity needed for a stable, long-lasting flight.
