Peter Wright Mamba 2 90% Tungsten Steel Tip Darts by Red Dragon

There's little left to say about Peter Wright's relentless search for the perfect darts. His Euro 11s showed off his swagger and steel on stage, but Peter found they needed too many setup changes across different conditions, so we set out to build a new set based on the same principles.

Peter pushed us hard to meet his exacting standards. He wanted a grip that felt more aggressive yet still subtle enough not to stick in his hand, with length, dimensions and balance matching the Euro 11 in every respect – and on top of all that, they still had to look stunning and capture his personality on stage. The result is the Mamba 16.

Built using our multi-milled tri-directional technology, the triple-groove pattern of rings, buttress cuts and bespoke DeltaTech gave Peter exactly what he was chasing. He said: "It's hard to put into words just how much I want to keep improving and win at the very highest level. This project went so deep I honestly wondered if we'd fall short. But the smile on my face the moment I picked these up told me everything I needed to know. My first set was 24g and worked brilliantly – I've since moved to a 22g version, which suits events and TV better than practising at home. I'm so sure about these darts I've bet the team they won't need to make me another set for at least a year!"
